Database Transfer times to SSD

I’m using my Rose 150B with a 4TB SSD, and using two PCs with Exact Audio Copy to create FLAC files.
To take advantage of my Synology RAID-5 backup, I create the audio database on PC (back it up) and then transfer it to the SSD on the Rose.

I have a number of observations …
i) Upload from the SSD runs at between 10-15 MB/s, despite the fact that file transfer between the PCs routinely runs at between 40-50 MB/s … this makes upload from the Rose 150B slow
ii) Download to the SSD runs at around 3-4 MB/s … this means that transfers in TeraBytes literally take days to perform.

Is this very slow transfer a result of the Rose reformatting the files for the SSD ???

Is it possible to have a small PC app to write directly to the SSD (using A USBC to SCSI cable) in a format that the Rose will be able to read (I assume that this will be much faster ??

I connected the ROSE SSD to the internal harddisk slot in the computer,
formated the SSD with the standard NTFS within Windows
transfered the music data with robocopy to the SSD,
disconnected the SSD from the computer harddisk slot
then inserted the SSD into the Rose audio player, started the DB scan

It all depends on the SSD you’re using. I can download a 1GB album to my HIFI ROSE RS 150B disk over the network in 10-15 seconds. Something is misconfigured on your end.
