Defeating volume in RS 150B

Apologies if this topic has appeared many times before.
What is the best method to defeat volume output from RS 150 besides setting the volume to full (99)?

Most people say that it is better to control the volume on the amp rather than the streamer for sound quality. You might want to turn the volume up to 99 on the Rose device and adjust it in the preamplifier.

If you do not know the input sensitivity, set the fixed value to 1000mV, and if creeping occurs while playing the sound source, take out the value one by one and set it to a value that does not appear clipping.
