Define the installed ssd as the major source

Rose RS250A, SSD 4TB installed. 40K Titels on the SSD (Structure: Interpret/CD-Title/Songs)
How do I define the SSD as the major source? Play in shuffle mode should be possible.

I don’t have (and want) any playlists. I don’t want to work this way (until now). There is no streaming via Tidal, Qu…, Spo… or what ever.

Just a data base with my sound.

Is there any instruction to setup in this way?

Thanks for information or helpful hints.

@Socke
I’m not sure if I understood your question correctly.

When you connect a 4TB SSD to RS250a, does that mean you want to shuffle and play all the songs on the SSD?
If so, your SSD must first be scanned on RS250a.

How to shuffle and play all songs on an SSD on a Rose device.
When you click RS250a–>Music–>the icon on the far left–>All song, you can see all tracks contained in the SSD. Shuffle playback is performed when you press the shuffle button on the track.

How to shuffle and play all songs on SSD in RoseConnect app.
RoseConnect app–>Music–>Classification–>Shuffle Press the Play button to perform shuffle play.

But the current problem is that if there are 5000 songs on your SSD, only songs 1 to 3000 will be shuffled. We are currently trying to improve this part.

Hi and thank you for the quick response,
you understood well.
Problem is defined. I have around 45.000 on the SSD. So the limitation of the shuffle (3000) is bad.
Would it help to create a Playlist or define them in favorites to solve the problem, or is the problem still existing.
What means currently try to improve? How long do I have to wait. Weeks, month, or longer?
In the forum I read that some people wait a (very) long time for solution you work on (and they are still existing. In this case the product (and the service) is not satisfactory for me. For a more than € 2.000 it should work, or the limitations should be define in the published facts.

Never the less, thank you for (coming and positiv) answers.
