Dimming button/screen brightness

Hi,

Can you please confirm if the screen brightness is fixed and the dimming button only changes the brightness of the ten buttons and volume button?

Also shoud the dimming button turn the screen off?
Mine just adjust the brightness from 1 to 6

Yes, the dimming button adjusts only the LED brightness on the button side in 6 steps.
