Display source-info xxBits xxkHz 2ch

Hi all, I’m new to this forum, so forgive me if I have mapped this question in the wrong category.
Since 2 months I have a Hifi Rose RS151 and (just recently) noticed that the source info on the display when playing radio and/or own music via (for example) Roon, does not show the letter “h” fully.
For example when playing radio the display shows “mp3 16bits 48kHz 2ch” or when using Roon, the display shows “pcm 24bits 96khz 2ch”, except that the letter “h” of “2ch” is not fully shown.
I have included two taken pictures as an example but I must admit it cannot be seen very clearly.
I have updated the software to the latest version (5.0 / 5.9.05 / 5.9.02.1), but the “issue” still remains.
Does this look familiar to anyone of you and how can I resolve this.

Thanks in advance for any feedback !

Best regards,
Jan

Here are a few things to check.

  1. Are you sure you’re playing the same radio channel when you play the radio on RS151 and when you play the radio through Roon?

  2. If it’s the same channel but the sample rates are different, it’s because the radio channel streaming URL is wrong.

  3. I checked the picture you sent. I can’t see anything unusual when I see the “h” on RS151.

The pictures I first sent to you were two different pictures. One when playing radio (via Hifi Rose) and one when playing an own (FLAC-)file via Roon, to show that in both cases the same issue occured (so not only when playing radio).
As I mentioned in my first message, I admit that on photo the issue of (partly) not showing the letter “h” in “2ch”, is not very clear. Therefor (enclosed) I have uploaded 2 new photo’s in which I specifically marked the “missing” part of the letter “h”.
I hope you can see/know what I mean now and have a solution to solve this.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Best regards,
Jan

Dear Rosehan,
Do you have any feedback / solutions, based on my response and the two new photo’s I sent you ?

Thanks in advance for any feedback from your side.

Best regards,
Jan

@Jan1963

I saw the 2 pictures you sent and I don’t see anything awkward about the “h”.
I also forwarded your issue to the software team but they said it is not something that can be fixed.

@ROSEHAN & @Jan1963

On the first picture, I think the “h” is a different font type - take note, the lines in the “h” is thinner (BTW, thinner line also on “H”) ← in the 2d photo, all the characters are the thinner line font type; hence, there’s a discrepancy in the used font types

Wow. I can’t believe I read this thread.

Hi, first of all thanks for your feedback. Do you have a solution to fix the situation I described, for instance by adjusting font types, and how to do that ?
By the way, in my post I have added two pictures, just to indicate that the issue occurs in both streaming my own music from my NAS (via Roon) and in playing radio-content (meaning the issue with the “h” is identical). Thanks in advance for your feedback. Best regards, Jan

The font type problem & inconsistency needs to be fixed by a HiFi Rose firmware update.
