DLNA Server latest update

I see in the latest software update that the DLNA connection is listed in a different place. Is the actual functionality changed so that the HiFi Rose can serve both as a Digital Media Player and as a Digital Media Controller? If not, was there any improvement to the DLNA function in the latest upgrade?

We didn’t have a place to add the Qobuz Connect icon on the top right of the Rose device while supporting Qobuz Connect. So we created a 3-dot menu.
You can enable or disable various wireless connection methods by pressing the 3-dot menu.

Finally, the latest update added the DLNA (Media Server) Playback Feature

Rosehan,

Thank you.

Is there a place where I can go to see instructions as to how to use the DLNA (Media Server) Playback Feature? Isn’t that the only DLNA component we already had before the update?

“Finally, the latest update added the DLNA (Media Server) Playback Feature.”

As I said, I believe that only one of the three DLNA functions comprising the full DLNA suite was previously available on the Rose software and that was the Playback Feature. Thus, this wouldn’t be something that was added in the latest release of the software as it was there before the software update.

I was aware that HiFi Rose had implemented DLNA (Media Server) Playback but the other two functions comprising the DLNA suite - the DLNA Media Server and the DLNA Media Controller were not available. If one of the two previously unavailable DLNA functions was added, it had to be either the Media Controller or the Media Server. Which one of the two was added and how do I access it?

Thank you.
