I don’t think they added it yet to the RS150B. It’s not on mine either.
RS150b does not support eq function. RS250, RS520 support eq function.
Currently, whether to add eq function to RS150b is under discussion.
Thank you
Should be, rs150b is the flagship.
I personally don’t see any need of an EQ on the Rose. I want the plain music signal.
If you have issues with the room, treat the room. If you use the RS150 as a Pre-Amp with active speaker, a DSP after the DAC would be a better solution. Hang it between the Analog out and the speaker.
I want to hear the music as it is. my 2 cents on this
Well some some point we do agree. But besides of changing the way that intend to sound, depend of the mix of amplifier you are using, sometimes highs trend to be to much harsh, specially with some horn loaded speakers, and you can mitigate the problem between 9khz to 14khz.
And in fact i do not understand why and entry level version which is the rs250 and rs520 does have it.
this is because they are newer models and probably a changed platform underneath. But really don’t know for sure.
I’m using my RS150 with analog out (XLR) to my Emotiva RMC-1 XLR-In, which is then sent with Ref. Stereo (all DSP deactivated) to the AMP. I use Magico A5 speakers and music is as it should, natural.
But I see your problem with the horns - not so easy to handle.
