When playing a Dolby Atmos sound source, it cannot be played because Dolby Atmos is not supported.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Then just keep listening on your iPad or iPhone and everything is fine.
You can’t ask ROSE to integrate everything. This does not even exist with very big brands that are much more expensive such as AVM or Brumester etc.

I’m just curious… how exactly does one see implementing a surround format on a purely stereo component…

But now in Tidal several (especially newer) titles are only available in Dolby Atmos. My RS-520 isn’t able to play them. Deactivating Dolby Atmos in the Tidal App doesn’t seem to change anything. Is there any solution or are all these titles on tidal not playable in future?

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

We do not support special sound sources such as Atmos or Dolby.
It doesn’t look like it will be easy to improve this area in the future.

What I do not understand: On my iOS-App I can just deactivate Dolby Atmos and everything is fine. The Rose-App just says „no support“ instead and jumps to the next title. Why can’t I just deactivate Dolby Atmos as well when using the Rose App instead of skipping a large amount of content? Or is that already possible?
I am not interested in Dolby Atmos. I am interested in listening to all the Tidal Songs!

Please tell me since that seems to be a longlasting problem (and to me as to many other customers as well) a very fundamental one: Not being able to play a Tidal-Dolby Atmos-Song simply in stereo quality or deactivating Dolby Atmos generally as it is possible in the Standard Tidal App is a problem of Tidal or a problem of HiFi-Rose? Are there still any efforts to solve this problem? I do think about changing my device just because of this problem. Other streaming devices seem to have found solutions!!

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

When entering the Tidal app from a Rose device or RoseConnect app, there is no function that prevents you from viewing only Tidal-Dolby Atmos music.

Any update on this. This is not about playing atmos on the Rose it about not losing content. As others have said atmos can be turned off in the tidal app, just not in the Rose app. Update the Rose app and fix this.
