Dear all,
I cannot get DSD Output (upsampled) from the RS151 to a T+A DAC 200 via USB. I do get it via Optical (DoP 64).
Any remedy for this behaviour?

Is Software Volume Control On on your RS151?
If the Software Volume Control function is turned on, it will operate as DSD to PCM. Please set Software Volume Control to OFF.
Does the VU meter not move only when the DSD mode setting on your RS151 is set to Native DSD? Does the VU meter not work even when DOP and PCM are set?
Are you using Roon?
Looking at the table below, if you set it to DOP when using a USB connection, it supports up to DSD 256 according to external DAC specifications
Thanks a lot for your reply.
I do get DSD out from USB and also upsampled DOP 64 works with optical output from RS151 to
my T+A DAC200.
I think what I am missing ist the Feature to upsample DSD with the RS151 through the USB
output. Resampling to higher PCM rates works fine, there is just no DSD upsampling Option for
the USB output. Or did I get this wrong?
Is there a chance that this will be implemented ?
Mmh, on my RS150 I don’t see any option for upsampling DSD (only from DSD to PCM or PCM → PCM) or PCM to DSD.
In the settings is also a help integrated.
By the way: I wouldn’t expect that Rose (if it had this option) had a better upsampling than your really great DAC. Hardware is also in the Rose devices here very limited.
If you want to use the DAC in the NOS mode, than I would use a good external Upsampler (at least until DSD256/DSD512 → there are some measurements from Jussi) like HQPlayer, which doesn’t works with your RS151.
You can also try a resampling in Roon (not as good, as with HQPlayer), which is compatible with the Rose devices.
