Duplicate nickname creating account

I just got my HiFi Rose 250a and can’t create an account. I can’t get past the verify duplicate nickname field. Virtually every nickname,e is taken.
I’ve tried through connect premium and the rose device with no success.

The account you created doesn’t work. I can’t log into it and it fails to send an email when I try the password reissue button.

I tried the temp password provided. When I hit the login button, I don’t get an error. I get a circle for about 1/2 second like it is trying to log in but it doesn’t. I hit the login button numerous times, but the same results.

I noticed another support call which sounded similar. Apparently the user needed to change something in their router firewall. I can’t yet think of what that fix would be.

Hello. I’ve spent some time reading through the forum and testing a few things. I was able to get my login to work when I connected using my iPhone as a hotspot. So my internet provider in the US has something blocking my accessing some HiFi rose server. In the forum I’ve noted a people saying they have changed router firewall and port settings without providing specifics. My internet router is owned by the provider who has been unable to make changes without something specific to change.
Yesterday I brought my Rose 250a to my daughters house who has another internet provider. Everything worked incredibly well.
I do hate changing provider just because I need to have a setting changed, but I may be forced to.
