[Early Access] Ver 5.10.02 (Rose OS 5.10.02) SW Update Notice

Hello,

Despite several updates to the Rose One app, my RS151 doesn’t maintain its connection to the app on my Google Pixel 10 and Google Pixel Tablet. When I completely close the app and reopen it, I have to reconnect my RS151 each time. This problem doesn’t occur with Rose Connect Premium.

Thanks

@ROSEHAN After the recent update of the Rose One app I have no problem to return to the album using the three dots menu. The issue is that, doing so, sometimes the list of tracks appearing is not complete and only the first 10 are shown. I have exhibited a concrete example in the thread “New app: Rose One”

@Alberto @fredg101

I will forward the issue you are experiencing to our software team.

Additionally, please help us check the following:

  1. Are your phone and Rose device connected to the same IP network?
    Go to:
    Rose device → Settings → System Info → Check the IP Address shown.

The IP address of the Rose device and the Wi-Fi IP address connected to your phone must match in the first two sections (up to the first two numbers separated by dots).

Example) Correct
Rose device IP Address: 192.168.4.44
Phone IP Address: 192.168.4.33

Example) Incorrect
Rose device IP Address: 192.168.4.44
Phone IP Address: 192.168.6.33

  1. If possible, please provide a photo or video showing the issue when your Rose device fails to connect to the ROSE ONE app.

@ROSEHAN The issue I comment is not the same @fredg101 comments. My device connects to the ROSE ONE app. The problem is that, when playing and returning to the album, many times the list of tracks is not complete and only the first 10 appear. I have exhibited an image in the thread “New app: Rose One”.

For some time now, when I wake up my RS130 from standby, no sound is coming from my RS130 to my RD160, RS130 is not recognize from Roon source

Hello @christoum1974 ,

Would you update the Rose One APP to the latest version and check if you can see the icon now?

Hello @Gardy
If you would like to test the fix for the Roon playback issue before the official version is released, please send your Rose ID (Settings > System Info) to the email address below. We will then send you an email with instructions on how to update.

@Gardy
It appears that updates have been made regarding version 2.61, as mentioned in the Roon Community post below. You should be able to use the official version on your Hi-Fi ROSE device without any issues. Please let me know in the comments if you encounter any problems during use

I don’t understand whether there are people who pay 25 euros a month for this service just to have the possibility to listen to concert trash, two subscriptions on Tidal and Qobuz in one… what other nonsense will be invented to exploit audiophiles …

There are bound to be crazy people like that!

Roon won’t be doing any business with me.

It’s bad enough that they charge so much for their software.

:v:t2:

Looking at their catalog, it’s probably mostly for deadheads who are so stoned out of their minds that they forget how many services they are signed up for :rofl:

:laughing: :smoking: :rofl: The perfect comparison… :+1:t2:

Now is OK, was solved…
Tks

Ok, now I am offended. I am going to have to petition to close this thread. You can make fun of my Luxman, Accuphase, and McIntosh all you want, but the Grateful Dead, no, that is a bridge too far!
