The equalizer doesn’t manage the sound coming from RCA plug in. Any tips pls ?
The equaliser is software based. That means it can only recalculate digital data. The analog input stays analog… At least I really hope it does. If you attach a turntable (phono amplifier) you wouldn’t want your precious pure analog signal digitized just because your speakers aren’t up to parr.
With real hifi an equaliser can’t fix room problems (because they are related to phase, that is; timing. Not amplitude).
The equaliser is good if you want to give the internal dac a bit of extra warmth, push intelligibility,… minor adjustments to digital content.
Tks Jeep for your gentle reply. I wasn’t sure about my setting, but yes all things considered the DAC is well set up and yes phono has to remain phono. Except if one wants to correct the signal…
