Hi, I have RS150B and I’m overall very happy with functionality but there are two things I miss in the app (EA 5.10.01.4):
Sorting/filtering on Vorbis tag ALBUMARTIST would be really helpful, since ARTIST can be several… I hope it is not a too complicated db update (splitting tags for GENRE and ARTIST is, I suppose, but that would have been really appreciated too).

After reviewing it, they will consider implementing any feasible additions.
There have been requests for AlbumArtist for a couple years. They only just recently even added the tag to their metadata. They still don’t allow it to be used for anything in the app.
As shown in the screenshot below, in the Rose One app under “Classification,” there are options to sort by Genres and Artists.
Please check the following:
AlbumArtist and Artist are completely different metdata tags. Are you not aware of the difference?
Hmm… well, I’d better not expect too much then.
I understand that there is a difference, but I’m not entirely sure what each one specifically represents.
If you could let us know where in the ROSECONNECT app you would like to access this and what kind of categorization or feature you are looking for, we will check whether it can be added.

Also note that when here listing Artist, when there are multiple ARTIST tags those are concatenated with a “;”. Ideally I think those should be in separate findings. The same goes for Genre btw.
When using ALBUMARTIST, in this case, it should be one tag with i.e. “Hughes/Thrall” as on the CD.
Should it have been a record with Various Artists, I would have written that to ALBUMARTIST and the respective artist in the ARTIST tag.
A lot more can be written on this subject but I hope this makes sense. Surely your developers knows about this already.
I’d add to Jens post above, to clarify:
If I own the Album named Blender, and the AlbumArtist is Collective Soul, even though the artist Elton John appears on the song Perfect Day, and thus appears as an Artist on that album, my collection, when sorted by Album Artist, should show only one entry for the Album Blender.
Instead, RoseOne sorts by Artist, and thus I see an Album entry for Collective Soul and an entry for Collective Soul;Elton John. It adds unnecessary clutter to a very extensive library and makes sorting a pain.
I have forwarded this issue to our software team.
