Feature wish: Add an icon to Play All , or Shuffle on the RS250 on touch screen where appropriate. This Play All or Shuffle is present in the Rose Connect app, but I cannot see it on its front touch screen when I try to play files stored on the internal SSD ?! Also , when I select a file to play, it play the files and then repeats the same file. By default it should automatically continue to play the next file in the same Folder - can this be introduced, or is there a setting ? Thank you for any help.

Would you check if the path is right?

  1. Play all/Shuffle
    : RoseConnect APP > Music > Album > Select Album > Play all or Shuffle

  2. Repeat same file
    : APP? or RS250?

  3. What is the model of your phone? (For RoseConnect)

Hi Roseloa,
Sorry , it has been a while. My Rose RS250 is working well and I did all software updates. The initial issues , however, remain:

  1. I would still like that when selecting a video file from the front pannel of the Rose RS250 (starting with the “Video” icon on the front pannel of Rose RS250), the file to play, and then automatically it should continue and play the next video file in the folder. Currently it just repeats playing the same video file forever! This refers to music video files , which are around 3 minutes long, and hence this repeating the same video is quite annoying. I am sure this can quite easily be fixed in the Rose software. Even on the App , when selecting a particular video file (again from “Video” - internal SDD) , it should automatically play the next video files one by one , starting from that loction (currently it just repeats forever the same file)!
  2. Another , non-related issue: Some of these video files freeze during the playing. The audio continues, however the video is freezes on a random fr0ame. It appears to happen when playing older video music stored on internal SDD. I re-processed some of these videofiles on my PC, and then they run ok on RS250.
  3. Another very annoying issue is that randomly the video files playing stutter - both video and sound) randomly ! This may be related to RS250 traying to access the network (mine is Ethernet wired network). By design , when playing the (video) files form the internal SDD, RS250 should disregard the network ! Note that my home netowrk is fast and Internet is high speed 100MBps.

For Apple remote app I use mostly my iPad Pro 2018 .

Generally I am quite happy with the RS250 quality, and these software issues could be easily fixed by your engineers.

Sorry about the issues you had about video.

For No.1, you will have the result you want if you control the RS250 with ROSE APP.

For ROSE device, if you touch the play button at the top of the display, you can play all.
When you skip to next video, it will skip.
