FIR Interpolation Phase Filter, Impact on sound

Dear Rose Team,

could you describe the general impact on the sound of each selectable FIR filter, so that selection will be easier ?
It´s hard to hear differences when a manual replay of a title needs to be triggered after changing a filter so that you cannot -toggle- while listening. Therefore a characteristical description of the filters would really help.
