FIR interpolation phase filter setting

On my RS151 I have the following options:

• Minimum Phase
• Linear phase apodizing filter
• Linear phase Fast Roll-off filter
• Linear phase Slow Roll-off filter
• Minimum phase Fast Roll-off filter
• Minimum phase Slow Roll-off filter
• Minimum phase Slow Roll-off low dispersion filter

I’ve tried to detect sound differences among them through many listening sessions but, maybe due to my “old boy” status, I was unable to appreciate more some options than others according to my personal sound taste.

Is there any document describing the filter options’ sound characteristics applied on the RS151?

I would like to identify the one that makes high frequencies more enhanced, more sparkling, a bit bolder/sharper. What’s, in your opinion, such an option out of the 7 available?

Please take a look at the table I prepared regarding the RS151 filters.
Additionally, although the two filters below have very similar names, there are slight differences between them:

• Minimum Phase Slow Roll-off Filter
• Minimum Phase Slow Roll-off Low Dispersion Filter

The Minimum Phase Slow Roll-off Filter focuses on a natural and smooth tonal character.
The Minimum Phase Slow Roll-off Low Dispersion Filter maintains a similar tonal balance but improves time accuracy and separation.

In simple terms, if you prefer relaxed and comfortable listening, we recommend the Minimum Phase Slow Roll-off Filter.
If you would like a bit more resolution and improved focusing, the Minimum Phase Slow Roll-off Low Dispersion Filter would be the better choice.
