Flickering display

I have a flickering display on my RS130.
Most of the time it starts normal but after few hours it starts flickering.
Only complete switching off resolves the issue for some time but within few hours it starts again flickering.
I can send you video if you like

First, please factory reset your Rose device.

Rose device–>Settings–>System settings–>Factory reset

If the same symptoms appear even after a factory reset, it appears that repair will be necessary.

As a result of checking the symptoms, it seems to be a defective LCD problem.

you may need to contact a distributor in the country where you purchased the RS150 for LCD repair.

It appears this issue is happening with greater frequency. Is this a known issue with the Hifi Rose RS130?

I did put the RS130 mains now behind a power conditioner and yesterday it worked all day long without any issues.
So I don’t think it’s really a faulty display but have to test longer

Hi, mine is still in repair now for 4 weeks
Hope to get it back this week
They told me they will replace the display, I will let you know if this will solve the problem.

Thanks for the info. THAT SUCKS. I’ve had my RS130 for a few months and it just started to flicker occasionally. Mostly after it’s been on the clock overnight. I can fix with a reboot and sometimes it goes back to normal on its own. I hate the idea of the problem being a “faulty display” and having to ship it back to the store waiting forever for it to get fixed.

I agree, the company which does the repairs had to order the display in Korea
Why don’t they have spare parts in stock??
My RS130 is just standing on a shelf over there waiting for the display to arrive
If I had known this before I would have send it to them the day they received the new display.
Now end of this week already 5 weeks gone :frowning:

Just received my RS130 back from repair
The display has been exchanged, now hopefully the flickering issue will be solved

Hi I’m now having the same issue with my RS130. first time was a couple of weeks ago and I shut it down and started and seem to fix but then it happened again yesterday three times so seem to be getting worse. I did two factory reset, then streamed music for a couple of hours. Once I put the unit in standby then turn it back on the flickering starts.
Are you having any issues since your screen was replaced?

No, I didn’t
Since the display has been replaced I didn’t have any issues anymore.
So I suggest you contact your dealer and have the display replaced.
You have to miss it a few weeks probably, but then it’s solved

Thanks for the response and glad to hear the issue was resolved on your unit. I messaged my dealer yesterday and included a video. Just waiting on a response, I’m hoping for one tomorrow.

Contact the dealer in the country where you purchased the RS130 and request an exchange or LCD replacement.
