German translation issues in ROSE Connect App – Version 5.7.07.6 (04/Apr/2025)

Dear @ROSEHAN,

I noticed a small translation error in the German version of the ROSE Connect app.
When viewing an album or track, the menu includes the option:
“Siehe das Etikett”

This is the literal translation of “See the label”, but in German, the word „Etikett“ normally refers to a physical sticker or tag – for example, a price label on a product or a clothing tag.

In the music industry, however, the correct German word for “label” (meaning the company that releases the music) is „Label“ itself, or sometimes „Plattenfirma“ (record company). Therefore, this translation sounds strange and confusing to German users.

Recommended correction: Please change “Siehe das Etikett” to one of the following:

„Label anzeigen“ (most direct and natural)

„Plattenfirma anzeigen“ (more descriptive)

„Label-Informationen“ (neutral and clear)

I hope this helps improve the experience for German-speaking users.
Thank you very much for your excellent work!

Best regards,
Philipp

I could tell about mistakes in Italian translation too… Sometimes they make me smile a lot…
Well, anyeay about sound quality i have to be honest
HiFi Rose the best, they only should make available a DSP for being perfect, imho

Unfortunately, the translation issue I reported on March 17, 2025 has still not been corrected in the latest firmware update (5.9.02.5, June 9, 2025).

Nearly three months have passed – more than enough time to fix such a minor issue. Moreover, my detailed post in the forum was completely ignored. This lack of response is, quite frankly, impolite and disappointing.

@ROSEHAN – may I kindly ask why this was disregarded?

I couldn’t even configure my Rose 150 B without going back to English from initial German language because the translation was so bad. For example in English you have “login” and “register” as two distinct functions. In the German translation there was only one term for both: “einloggen” which off course led me the wrong way when I tried to find “registrieren”.
This is a very basic error which should have at least fixed in version 2.0… but we are at 5.9 now…

@Philsisch

I have forwarded your request for revision to the software team once again.
They will review and revise the text accordingly.
