GND on Rose 130

Has any one found the GND on the Rose 130 streamer useful? I recently added the Gutwire perfect grounding cable to my Holo May dac and found a very good improvement, so have now just bought the Ultimate cable from the same company that fits to a spare rca socket.

Does anyone make the use of such improvements and which way have you carried it out? ie grounding box etc…

@chrisjames

The GND terminal on the RS130 is designed to help reduce ground noise between connected devices.
Its effect can vary depending on your system and power environment.

Some users connect it to a grounding box or the GND terminal of another component (e.g., DAC or preamp) and experience a slight improvement in sound quality.
You may try connecting your Gutwire grounding cable to the RS130’s GND terminal to see if it benefits your setup.

Thanks ROSEHAN for your reply and extended information regarding connecting GND between devices. I will add the Gutwire grounding cable to the Rose 130 and listen to see if there is an immediate lift in SQ or if I notice more over a longer listening period, using the cheaper Gutwire grounding cable with the Holo Audio May dac I noticed an immediate improvement, just less digital glare and a darker background with less noise.

I know such improvement are system dependant and the results may vary from different devices.

Once I have a conclusion I will update on the results over the next week or so.
