Having trouble playing on i pad

I just got my rs250A, music sounds great through Tidal and my android ….
Today I tried to play on iPad it sounds terrible any advice?

@Eblack

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Please answer a few questions.

  1. When you play music on your iPad through the RoseConnect app, does the RS250a sound bad?
  2. How are you connecting the iPad and RS250a?
  3. Operating RS250a through the RoseConnect app on iPad must be the same as playing music on RS250a. Since the iPad only functions as a remote control, it makes no sense for there to be a difference in sound quality.
  4. Please provide a more detailed explanation. Please explain in detail how you connected and used the iPad and what music you played.

I use Bluetooth for both android and iPad on Rose app…I do notice when I use Rose app on a phone there is a green dot in upper right corner but when I use iPad there is not… I’m guessing the green dot is for a full connection?

@Eblack

iOS has not added this feature yet.
The green dot means that the connection is established and does not mean a full connection.

How do I get best quality sound out of my Rs250a? I don’t think I am getting full connection…I don’t see bit rating on Rose app on phone or RS250A?

@Eblack

I can’t give you an answer without knowing what other devices you have besides the RS250a.
Still, I recommend that you set the input sensitivity to the amplifier you are using in the preout level setting on RS250a and use it as a fixed output. I also recommend adjusting the volume on the amplifier.

The bit rate can be checked on the music playback screen of RS250a and can also be checked in the iOS RoseConnect app.

I have an Marantz SR8015 that I am using with the RS250A…I did notice the path signal is blank… thanks for your help I will try to change.

It says sensitivity for SR8015 is 2.5mv I don’t see any options to change?

Will adjusted change fix signal path?

@Eblack

  1. RS250a–>Settings–>Audio settings–>In/Out settings–>Click the gear icon on the output to see the preout level settings–>Set the same value as the input sensitivity of your amplifier. Or you can use it by setting a similar value.

  2. Looking at the photo you sent, it appears to be connected via Bluetooth.
    Sound quality cannot be checked when connected to Bluetooth.

I really appreciate your help
Thanks
