Hi There,
Preciously posted with the wrong title.
I am considering buying a RS520, but I have one question….
Outside of buying a headphone amplifier, can you connect headphones by cable or Bluetooth to this system?
Thanks
Joe

We are sorry for the late reply as we participated in an audio show held in Korea last week.
Rose devices use a Bluetooth profile that receives sound sources. Bluetooth profiles that transmit sound sources are not supported
So, if you want to use Bluetooth Speaker or Headphone, you must connect and use the Bluetooth transceiver.
Thank you
Bluetooth headphones? What exactly do you expect from them, watching a movies or listening to the music? For music purpose no wifi nor bluetooth will sound in a proper way.
Sometimes you need to be quiet while listening to music…. While other people sleep…
I used a AudioQuest DragonFly, plugged in the USB at the backside of the RS520.
Works very well, you have to put the volume very high.
Yes, as a headphone AMP.
I am looking for a USB Bluetooth transmitter for my Bluetooth headphones. Just not sure which one works with the RoseOS(android). Sennheiser is one of the options and the price is reasonable
As a newbie here in this forum I wanted to ask those experienced members what you recommend as a high-quality Headphone Amp to connect to the RS520? Probably via Pre-Out Connectors (left/right) or any better choice?
Headphone is a Meze 109Pro.
I have a cheap headphone amp from Creative SoundBlaster X5 bought recently but have trouble to get this working. Thanks for your advice!
I also use the Audioquest DragonFly Cobalt (the blue) with my AKG 812 and it works very well.Class Sound
I use Topping A70 Pro and like it for its design and quality (very neutral, clean with a bit warmer than older Topping model, pre L70). There is a pair of RCA unbalanced inputs (L/R) on the A70 Pro that you can connect from Preamp output of RS520.
Of course they do. Have you ever heard Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 or Max? Okay, they do not perform like the big headphones from STAX, but they do sound better than many other cable headphones in the price range of the AirPods Max.
BT is still lossy codec and most of lifestyle headphones(like ipods) are fashion and not soud oriented.
Comparison between lifestyle gear and hifi gear makes no sense nor will have the same audience.
I have had few bt gear and bor me they are good enough for phone calls or jogging but never for serious music enjoyment.
Yes, I had try ipods but also the other bt gear up to €2k price range…
