Hi,
According to the manual of the RA180, the XLR balance input sensitivity is 2000mV for 200W x 4 Channel.
I am running my RA180 in BTL mode, meaning 400W x 2 Channel.
I tried the 2000mV preout level as indicated in the manual, but I found setting the preout level to 3000mV on the RS150B provides a better sound quality.
Is there a recommended preout level for the RA180 in BTL mode?
I checked with the Rose vendor in my location. He said he is setting 6000mV for his demo RS150B + RA150, probably due to low sensitivity of his speakers.
My question is: will high preout level cause any damage to the amp ?
Thanks
