HF ra 280 rumble pre-amp

Dear,I am new here on the forum and have not been able to read or find everything regarding a question.

I have owned the HR RA280 for a week now, and after some setup tests with my Clearaudio Concept turntable, I noticed that there is a rumble in the integrated preamp.

In various reviews, it was already mentioned that this preamp was not of high quality, but I didn’t expect this from a high-end amplifier costing over 3000 euros.
(Denon PMA 1600NE did not have this)

Has anyone else experienced this, and what was your solution?
System setup:

Clearaudio Concept with Ortofon M2 Blue
Monitor Audio PL 100 MKII
Nordost cables

Regarding the rumble you noticed with the HR RA280’s built-in phono preamp, certain factors such as grounding, cartridge sensitivity, or external interference can sometimes cause noise, regardless of the preamp’s quality. We recommend checking the following:

  1. Ensure that the turntable and amplifier are properly grounded.
  2. Inspect the phono and interconnect cables for any noise or interference.
  3. Check your power source or power strip for potential ground noise.
  4. Compare the sound with another phono preamp or input to determine if the issue persists.
