Auralic still alive?
Back
Hi Wilfried,
I’m not sure the changes we have observed within Auralic over last six months or so can be completely attributed to the Tariff situation, although it must undoubtedly make life very difficult in certain markets (ie. US), if not for manufacturing, possibly for sales (ie. remaining competitive).
But the US isn’t the only market and Auralic have certainly grown over the last few years (going on the Press and number of Dealers), so I suspect the “old” ways of doing things was slowly becoming unmanageable (certainly on the communication front)…hence the preference to make more use of Dealers (noted in Richard Bates post on similar subject).
I certainly haven’t noticed any change in advertising from Dealers in UK, most of the product range appears to be readily available, although X3 is still a little scarce.
Unfortunately things can change with time and situation, having a one-to-one with a CEO was a rather unusual situation and probably spoiled us as a consequence…more often for the industry it has relied on the “Dealer” as first line of contact, with possibly a chat on a “Forum” if available with fellow users, the last resort is Email to the company.
Hi SiHancox,
The problem is, some users don’t get any reaction to their email they send to support and the X3 has never been reviewed as far as I can recall?? That raises questions. But we have to wait till we see any action on the Auralic front.
