Thank you.
Will there actually be live people via phone that we can talk to like Mofi.
Yes. We plan to have dedicated English-speaking customer support representatives at HiFi ROSE USA who will be available to assist customers by phone.
Where will HIFI ROSE USA be located?
You are fortunate that you were able to listen to different devices. Here in West Palm Beach there is only one audio store (other than Best Buy). They only carried HiFi Rose and McIntosh so options were limited. Is there a reason you only use the 151 with ROON? I looked into ROON but it seemed it is primarily for people with large digital music files. I lost all my CDs and original audio gear to a hurricane a year and half ago so I just stream from Spotify and Qobuz.
Once again, this feels like a situation where HiFi Rose has overpromised and underdelivered. I understand that transitioning from one U.S. distributor to a new direct-sales and support model is a significant undertaking, and I appreciate that there are likely many logistical details involved behind the scenes.
That said, the HiFiRoseUSA.com website still appears to be a mix of MoFi and HiFi Rose information, with very little clarity regarding how the handoff between the two organizations is actually being managed. Additionally, the RW800 still appears to be unavailable for purchase in the United States.
My suggestion would be that when making a change of this magnitude in what is presumably one of HiFi Rose’s most important markets, the transition plan really needs to be fully developed and clearly communicated before the change is announced. Customers should know who is responsible for sales, service, warranty support, and repairs; when each responsibility officially transfers; where the U.S. operation is located; and, importantly, who customers can contact directly by both phone and email when they need assistance.
I genuinely want to see HiFi Rose succeed in the U.S. market, but a transition like this requires clear communication and a seamless handoff to give both existing and prospective customers confidence in the brand going forward.
Hi Thomas
I use Qobuz with Roon cause this sounds best in my setup. Gato Dia 250s is my amp and speakers are Sonus Faber Sonetto II G2.
I did have all kind of different setup’s but with RS151 i am very happy. I use the RS151 as a preamp and in Roon i configured Parametric EQ.
How sad that you lost all yr music cd.
Best. Leon
“…the transition needs to be essentially done before…”
That’s MoFi’s HQ even though they use Vegas as their distribution center.
I don’t think Rose has fully updated or converted their web site?
AFAIK any existing orders made before Aug 1st but hadn’t been shipped still goes thru MoFi so maybe that’s why some things are still up?
Who knows?
There hasn’t been a single reported problem (yet) with the changeover and still people have to just complain and complain.
Anyone know who i can contact about a warranty request? The vendor (Crutchfield) sent me to mofi (who is not distributing any more) and they sent me to rose_service@hifirose.com and one answers my email request and there is no direct phone number to contact. Thanks!
