Hifi Rose Problems

I bought an Hifi Rose Rs201E.
I have tested it for several days.

This are the things/problems that decide me to send it back.

1.No tone settings when you use Spotify connect.
2.Tidal, you have to use the Rose Connect app.
There is no Tidal connect.
Here in the Netherlands we use much “ideal” for payment.
Spotify has it, Tidal not.( But that is not a problem from Hifi ROSE )
3.Searching for lokal Radio in the app, is bad.
And difficult.
4.I see no Amsterdam as clock setting time ?
5.Youtube video’s are , for me then, only easy to do on the touchscreen from the unit.
6.The Hifi Rose connect app against , blue sound app is just not as good.( to say it nice )
7.Vu meters do not work with external units like a record player.
8.Sometimes the unit just bugs a little.
9.Every application you have to set the tone settings you like.
Just one tone setting for all I prefer.
Also tone setting you cannot use with external analogue inputs.

I have a NAD C700, I keep using that as my main music player
Sorry Hifi Rose, I know you are new kid on the block with all in one streamers.
Except off course other electronica like displays, and touch , because that is superb.
But I buy a unit mostly for good sound, and the looks are second.

First fix all those things, and then I will come back !

Exactly!

So annoying when listening to music and the device is buggy, has glitches in playback or needs to be reset every other time you turn it on.

If you want to provide a high end audio device in the audiohpile community the number one focus should be, undisturbed smooth play back, every single time!

When investing in a high-end music library and ten-thousands $/€ worth of equipment the playback device should be one thing, stable!
