How to change the logo with a radio station?

My RS520 briefly had the correct picture with the “Deep Radio” station when I had my RS520 in October 2022. Shortly after, the picture has changed to a large white on blue “W”. It looks like the “W” that was used by Wordstar 40 years ago. I have never been able to change it back to the original red square logo.
I am listening in the Netherlands to “Deep Radio” in the streaming mode.
Can anyone advise on how to proceed to change this picture back to what it was.
NB: all the other ones are OK.

Thanks

Paulus

Hello @Paulus,

You can’t change the logo of a stream you’re looking for. You can create the stream yourself in my roseRadio.

Here you have everything you need.

Do you mean the logo???

 This is a Russian stream, and it’s being tapped from somewhere else. I’ve had this happen before, on a German stream.

The W was actually the right one. You can see your red one on the website.

Addendum:

Okay, they’ve changed the logo. When I listened to this stream a long time ago, the logo was still the W.

I tested it on my Lyngdorf TDAI 3400. The Lyngdorf uses “airable,” and the new (red) logo appears.

PS:

BeatsRadio would also be an alternative (same style). It’s from Hamburg, Germany, and is run by Beats Classic.
It can be found in roseRadio by searching and also has the correct logo.

It would be nice if you could post a screenshot on the topic. Just a picture of your display of the stream in question.

@Paulus

You can’t change or add a log to the existing radio channels we support.

If you have a favorite radio channel, please let me know the channel name.
Then I will find the URL of your favorite radio streaming and send it to you.
You can add a radio channel by watching the video below and insert the image of the radio channel you have in the image input field.

@ Bonte
Thanks for your extended response. I will look into it when the weather is getting worse.

@ Rosehan

The radio station is: DEEP Radio from Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
I’ll wait for what you can find.
Otherwise I will try what Bonte suggested earlier.

Thanks

Microphone icon in RoseRadio? U=bonte

You don’t need to type anything into (radio-browser.info) either (as shown in the Rose video). You can copy the URL, language, etc., to the clipboard and paste it into the radio stream you’re creating in My RoseRodio. The image (station image) is 500x500 DPI (I couldn’t find a better resolution). I think my 520 asked me if it could access photos. Confirm, and you can drag and drop the image from your photo app to the stream you’re creating. Then just save (and don’t forget to activate your favorite stream as a favorite. :star:).
Or you can edit the station logo a bit more with image editing software. You can perhaps make it sharper, add more contrast, etc., until it looks really nice for the Rose display. I’ve always done that. I’ve even digitally edited poorly designed music cover art.

And:

Don’t be surprised, the small microphone icon isn’t green.

Those were my questions in the forum here too.

If the microphone is green:
Is it a stream found (via search) via the Rose server?

If the microphone is gray:
Is it a self-created stream? What the commentator said back then, that streams with a grayed-out microphone don’t play, isn’t true. For me, all of my self-created streams worked, even the HiRes streams (ogg). I can’t say what the current status is. Perhaps Rose has changed something, or it’s still running as perfectly as it did when I created my streams.

Try it and create your own streams.

Best regards, Bonte :v:t2:

What Rose has done is great, but the same thing is also available in Roon.

Paulus! I posted everything about the stream to you. You have all the data. Of course, you also need to have some general knowledge of computers.

:v:t2:

Thanks again Bonte.
Ich werde es versuchen. I’ll give it a try soon.

Here’s another example.
I’ve backed up all my streams, for example, in Notes (Apple), so that if a total outage occurs, I don’t have to search for everything again.
