How to delete the bogus Album record

Hi ,

Has anyone encountered the Album record still exist in Rs150b after it was removed ?

I have a weird situation where i discovered there are 2 albums in my rs150 browse list that display as 4 albums (2 each). This occurred maybe due to i have renamed the album title with extra caption, but the physical folder is not duplicating. I first thought i can clean up this issue by deleting the affected the music folder, follow by a db rescan, or db delete + db rescan.

However the the rose app still display the image of the album i wanted to get rid, but when i click on it, the content is empty.

How do i solve this ?

That’s a great question. I had 1 song from an album that was split out separately and the text was in Korean. Every other streamer could read that album correctly except for the Rose connect app. I don’t know how many other CDs I have ripped aren’t showing up correctly as I quit using the app and started using Roon.

  1. Rose device–>Music–>Gear icon on the bottom left (Settings)–>Media Library–>DB initialization–>Rescan DB
    Does the same symptom appear even after rescanning after DB initialization as above?
