How to obtain/create a PIN code

I have an RS250A

Were we issued PIN codes or do we have to set it? If so, how? I am attempting to change my password from a temporary password. I live in the US.

You have to create your own.
If you haven’t done this… when you go to the menu area to the pin code… you just create it.
That’s it.

Note its an 8 digit pin code.

With the V5.9.07 update, a security authentication feature was added, requiring a PIN code (8-digit number) entry process.
If a PIN code has not been set, the user must enter a random number of their choice for the first time. Once entered, the PIN code must be entered the first time entering the next menu.
The PIN code must be entered when powering the Rose device off and on.

Where do you enter a code pin for the first time I never had to do this and it keeps asking for my pin I never created one where can I enter one.

Please check the following:

  1. What software version is displayed on your device?
    Go to:
    Rose device → Settings → System info → System version info → V5.9.07
    If your system version is not 5.9, then the PIN code input screen will not appear.

  2. A PIN code is required when entering the following menus on your Rose device:
    Storage
    Ethernet
    Wi-Fi
    Bluetooth
    Device Management
    User Account

  3. You must also enter the PIN code when powering the Rose device off and on.
