Signalyst had made it for Matrix (I’m sure they paid him handsomely). EverSolo made theirs themselves, but then they do have an actual software development team. And it still does not quite work right.
Now why would one want the rather pointless NAA support instead of getting the basic advertised functionality working properly is another question…
HQPlayer is a very versatile player, so it would be difficult to integrate it directly into ROSE devices. However, while it is not feasible to support all of the many features provided by HQPlayer, we are currently developing support within ROSE for several useful functions (such as upsampling).
