Have a Rose 250. Unit is producing an audible hum through system. Signal only stops when RCAs are disconnected or when Rose is unplugged. Seems to be a grounding problem but no other equipment connected to the same power supply is producing the same signal through the speakers. Hum only occurs when Rose is plugged in and connected to the pre amp. Please advise.
Need more info.
Did you try without the preamp?
Is the power cable grounded?
Did you try the plug the other way around? (So phase and 0 are reversed, or V+ and 0, hot and cold wire).
Did you try a different RCA cable?

Where does the hum noise come from, the speaker or the RS250?
