I am getting Connection to Rose Server failed

No matter my RS 520 is link to my network via Wifi or Ethernet, I always got the message Connection to Rose server failed? I already unplugged the device multiple times for days. Problem is always there.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Here are a few things to check.

  1. Does the internet work normally when you connect the WiFi connected to your RS520 to another device such as your mobile phone?
  2. Does the IP address appear when you connect to WiFi or Ethernet on your RS520?
  3. When you connect WiFi to your RS520, does it show as connected to WiFi? Or does it show as saved?
  4. To connect WiFi to your RS520, you need to connect the dongle that looks like an antenna to the rear of the RS520. Is it connected?
  5. Does the same symptom occur after factory resetting your RS520?
    RS520–>Settings–>System settings–>Factory reset

Thanks for your reply. Ethernet and Wifi did clearly appeared to work on the 520. I did succeed to connect it finally by changing date and time - that were correct - to auto date and time.

The app really struggles at first to connect with the device but after some fiddling, it now seems to work.
