I just noticed the “Guidelines for Positive Participation in HiFi Rose Community” was re-pinned globally yesterday, even though it has been sitting in the forum for 3 years. https://community.roseaudio.kr/t/guidelines-for-positive-participation-in-hifi-rose-community/4832
According to those Guidelines:
Blockquote
Respectful language: We recommend that you use respectful language and avoid any form of hate speech, harassment, or personal attacks towards others.
Blockquote
Constructive criticism: We encourage you to share your experiences with HIFI ROSE products, but please ensure that any feedback or criticism is constructive and not intended to harm or insult other users.
Blockquote
No trolling or inciting drama: We recommend that you do not engage in trolling or intentionally incite drama or conflict within the community.
Blockquote
Moderation: If you notice any behavior that violates these recommendations, please report it to the moderators, who will take appropriate action to address the situation.
By no means to make matters worse, but while most of us value the respectful exchange of HiFi and audiophile ideas in this forum, there are some individuals who are repeatedly harassing and attacking others with foul language to suppress differing viewpoints.
Multiple members, including myself, have reported these instances to the moderation team many times – both directly and indirectly via different posts – as these behaviors not only violate the HiFi Rose Community Guidelines regarding “Respectful language” and “No trolling,” but have also created a hostile atmosphere that discourages proper productive dialogue.
Sadly, it is disappointing that we have seen neither an appropriate reply nor any proper intervention taken by the moderation team against these individuals to resolve these conflicts in a timely manner according to the Community Guidelines. Worse still, some members, such as @joyofmvid, appear to have been unfairly penalized for the disruptive behavior of others (see this post).
While I don’t hold out much hope, I once more urge the moderation team, @ROSEHAN and @ROSELOA, to intervene fairly and justly from now on to ensure this forum remains “a positive and respectful environment for all users”, which HiFi Rose and the moderation team committed to in the official Guidelines.
