Impossible to Connect to QOBUZ

Still having problem to connect to Qobuz, and very disappointed about that, I can’t have music from about 3 weeks.
I don’t know what is RoseConnect App.
I’m just using Qobuz directly on my RS250 device - I don’t use Qobuz from my mobile phone.

It is - for me - also another major issue that updates are mandatory. We should at least have an option going back to previous release in case of issue, like this one.

Just download the rose Connect app and login from there and you’ll be fine. Don’t make it so hard for yourself.

I don’t have this app on the Rose store, from my RS250. If it is from the mobile phone I can’t use it.

If you don’t have an android or iOS device, maybe you could use someone else’s device to log you back in. After that you will able to control your 250 from the front screen again.

Say what you want but this is incredibly stupid. I had to change my password and I can’t login from the app nor from the streamer.

I’m getting really angry. And I’m really good with problem solving in IT. Bit this should not happen!

I can’t even push the button ‘sign in’. It just greys out.
Nor from the app. Nothing works.

Edit: don’t bother answering. I fixed it already. You need to update the app and login from the app. This is stupid. Why give the option to login from the app if that doesn’t work. Come on guys. This is an expensive product!

Also, I really don’t want to keep track of all my passwords everytime Rose Audio pushes out another mandatory update. It just stops working if you dont wxnt to update. This is not consumer friendly.

If you want to use Qobuz, there is no other way than downloading the RoseConnect premium app.

  1. Connect your cell phone or tablet to the same Wi-Fi connected to RS250 and download the RoseConnect premium app.
  2. Connect your RS250 in the RoseConnect premiun app.
  3. Go to Qobuz in the RoseConnect premiun app and log in. Qobuz will be logged in on your RS250.

I can’t say I’m satisfied about the main application , but this way works.

Have you tried connecting to Qobuz using the Rose Connect app or are you attempting to do in on the screen of the RS250A? I have found that there are problems trying to logon to Qobuz from the unit, but it works using the Rose Connect app.

Yes, but it is not the same, I think… Using the app:
1/ means that the music is transmitted to the unit from the phone with bluetooth whereas if qobuz was installed in the unit it would be transmitted through the wifi, right? I used the LDAC codecs on my phone to minimise the loss.
2/ it is then easier to use directly the qobuz app.

Install the Qobuz app on the RS250 from the Rose Store. If necessary delete the current copy and install a new one. Then log onto Qobuz using the Rose Connect app on your phone or tablet. Use the Rose Connect app to navigate Qobuz. The stream is through the internet to the RS250, not your phone via Bluetooth, unless you did something I am not familiar with.

No. You use Rose Connect to log in to Qobuz. Login on the device does not work, but from the app it does.
