In Playlists you can't copy a Public list

I understand that other parties’ Public Playlists can’t be modified. However, there doesn’t seem to be a way to copy a Public Playlist, make it private and modify it or save it as private. It would be a nice feature to add and not very difficult.
Is it possible that the ability to do this is present and I’m just missing it?

There is a way to change a public playlist to a private playlist.

  1. Select the playlist you want to edit.
  2. Select the three dots icon in the playlist.
  3. Click the Edit playlist button
  4. If you scroll down, edit the public settings and click the Complete button at the top right of the screen.
