In Qobuz if I mark an album as a Favorite it doesn't show up as a favorite

In Qobuz if I mark an album as a Favorite (heart) it doesn’t show up as a Favorite on the My Qobuz Favorites. It should.

StandardModel

But the opposite is true, isn’t it?
If you add items to your Favorites in the QOBUZ app, they do appear as Favorites in Rose Connect, right?

domrol,

Yes, you are correct. You can mark it in the Roseconnect app but it won’t work. If however,
If it’s done inside the Qobuz app it works. An error message that tells one that would have been nice.

This is a bug, right @ROSELOA

Strange ! I am unable to replicate your issue on my RS 520.

If I flag an album as a “Favourite” in either the Qobuz app or via “My Qobuz” in the Rose Connect app, it appears instantly in Rose Connect >Qobuz>My Qobuz>Favourites.

The frustration I have is that once the album is added there is no option to sort the Qobuz Favourites albums from within the Rose Connect App but that’s an old chestnut which appears to be no closer to being resolved.

Martini,

Are you using the apple version of Roseconnect?
It could also be that I’m using the Early Access version.

Hello @StandardModel ,

It appears that the issue you mentioned does not occur in the latest version.
If possible, I recommend updating to the latest version.

Best Regards,

Hello @Martini ,

We are aware of the issue you mentioned.
Our service operates based on the API provided by Qobuz, and unfortunately, the current API does not support the feature you referred to. We will request this from Qobuz again, but unless they provide the necessary functionality, it is difficult for us to offer a concrete update schedule. Your understanding is appreciated.

Best Regards,

Hello @StandardModel

Yes, I’m using the Apple version of Rose Connect and I am not using the Early Access system.
Hope this helps.

Hello @ROSELOA

Regarding the API issues associated with sorting Qobuz Playlists and Favourites within RoseConnect App, please note that it is possible to sort them in the MConnect HD app and stream directly to my RS520.

With Playlists, MConnect HD offers three sorting options , Customized, Last Update, Alphabetical.

With Favorites the three options are, Added Date, By Album ( where they are sorted alphabetically A- Z), By Artists.

All options can be displayed in both List View as well as Tile View.

Gapless, 24 bit up to 192 kHz High Resolution Playback is also possible.

Why can’t these sorting options be incorporated into the Rose Connect App ?

@Martini

The difference you are seeing is mainly related to how each application interacts with the Qobuz API and how playlist and favorites data are processed internally.
Third-party apps such as MConnect HD use their own API handling and data parsing logic, which allows them to implement additional sorting and display options independently of the RoseConnect App.
In contrast, RoseConnect is designed to follow the official API structure and usage policies provided by Qobuz, as well as our own system architecture and UI framework.
This means that some sorting options and views available in other apps cannot be implemented immediately or in the same way without further development and validation.
