Internal disk database and albums name issue

Hi @ROSEHAN and @ROSELOA!

First of all, I really appreciate the after-sales service you offer, the effort, the updates and the quality of the products. I have the RS150b and I love it.

I want to share three problems that I have with the OS (5.7.07):

  1. I can’t delete the database from the internal disk. It’s as easy as ever with network databases, but impossible in this case. In previous versions of the firmware I could do it without any problem.

  2. I have an issue with the album’s name in the screen. Sometimes appears and sometimes not and I don’t know why. That’s happend with the same albums and it’s seems to be aleatory (all the tags are correctly assigned).

  3. When the album name appears, it looks bad in some views. See the picture below

I wish you a happy new year for all Rose team!

Regards!

Here is the answer to your question.

  1. Please check the video below and reconnect your Rose device and PC via network.
    There is a possibility that the existing network was deleted during the update.
    For Windows: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVx63z86jE4
    For Mac: www.youtube.com/watch?v=L98EFsW1Eoo

    1. I saw the pictures you sent me but I don’t understand what the problem is. Please explain your questions 2 and 3 clearly.

@ROSEHAN

Thanks for the quick response.

  1. First problem solved. It was not a network problem. I couldn’t delete an album from the internal disk database (I had scanned only one for different tests.). I decided to rescan the internal disk database completely and then delete it, and it worked.

  2. Album’s name in the screen:

Sometimes appears…

…and sometimes not!

  1. When the album name appears, certain views show the artist name cut off.

Regards!

@Remebe

I have forwarded this issue to the software team.

They will fix it and reflect it in the next update.

@ROSEHAN

Thanks a lot!
