IP Address keeps changing

Hi I have the RS250A running the latest non EA version software. Every time I restart or fully shut down the unit the IP address changes. It will go from 192.168.1.7 to 192.168.11 for instance. Why does it do that and is there a way for it to not do that? I have to rescan my library in Jriver everytime the IP address changes to load the music which takes a long time. Plus the Rose connect apps have to refind the device again. Please have the unit keep the same IP address

Set a fixed IP address for your Rose device in the desktop interface of your router. You can also prioritize the device if your network (speed) fluctuates.

I did not know this. This helped very much, thank you for the explanation! I changed my settings to Static IP address under WIFI on the RS250A. Hopefully the IP address will remain the same now. It’s odd that holding down the wifi name opens up settings, it should be more clear than that somewhere. Thank you again
