Yes according to Boris, his superior technical knowledge and hearing relegates us all to people who cannot hear audible differences within a $40k system. Only Boris knows, the rest of us are just imagining. It doesn’t matter that we have over 40 years of music and hearing training and blind AB testing, only Boris knows. Indeed. Because there is a manufacturer that will say “our product does not do anything that a product that costs 1/10th doesn’t.”

It is obviously too complicated a concept that there are many parameters other than the sound quality that go into equipment selection, but you should stick with a $15 phone dongle. Being deaf you would not hear any difference anyway, and anything more complicated would be too much for you to turn on and use.

It’s not for you. Someone slightly dumber than a water flea can’t be enlightened.

The RS150B is (in my opinion) a great streamer and DAC.
However, using the RS150B as a streamer or using the RS130 with a higher quality DAC (may be the upcoming RD160) will give you MUCH better sound.
I tried the RS150B and the RS130 using a MSB Discrete Dac (with extra power supply and USB Pro interface) and also using a Silbatone DA107MKIII and in both cases the improvement was huge. You can also upgrade at a later time adding a clock.

Agreed. Most reviewers found the same thing . Rs130 is pinnacle of streamer sonic quality . I found it to be true in my own system. Up to 10-15 percent sonic improvement .

Exactly let bygones be bygones. I’m loving my system. I just added a synergistic research powercell 8 and upgraded to a SR outlet and power cord, the difference is night and day. I’ve been joyfully listening 7 hours per day
