Is there a configuration for the RS130 that allows music to be played automatically with the screen off?
It would only turn on when you use the front panel or remote control to control the music.

Music playback is not possible on Rose devices when they are in standby mode or powered off.
That’s not what I was asking. The RS130 isn’t in standby mode. It plays music with the screen off, but only turns back on when you place a command, and then automatically turns off.
Do you see?
Does this mean your RS130’s music plays even when the screen is off?
Please describe your symptoms in more detail.
If you could email me a video, I’d be able to understand it better.

Hello ROSEHAN
This isn’t a problem with my RS130, but rather a suggestion for improvement.
I want to be able to play music with the screen off and then have it turn back on when I place orders.
So, as I said above, music playback is not possible when the Rose device’s LCD is turned off.
This issue will likely be difficult to improve in the future.
This is more of a software option than a hardware issue with the RS130…
That’s why I think it would be good to consider it from an ergonomic perspective.
One might think that if someone did the research on a $5000 streamer that is ALL SCREEN on the front that said person would want the screen on while using.
Apologies for the sarcasm but this forum is literally filled with requests for adding specific individual features while at the same time complaining that the main OS software isn’t solid yet
Indeed, there’s no point in being sarcastic.
I have different ways of listening to music. During the day, I have the screen on, and I read the different displays on the screen with Shazam by example.
But I enjoy listening to music in complete darkness at night; the experience is completely different. We enter in other dimension where only the auditory sense is active.
You should try that.
For that, I use the “screen off” function on the RoseConnect remote control. I think it was designed for this purpose, in fact.
No consideration of the price of my RS130 comes into play here, only the fact that at this price the various functions should interact coherently.
yes you can. at least it works in my rig (roon, ethernet , fiber, rs130, usb out fiber, rd160, ra280.
i turn everything off from the app. next day i turn on the amp i fire up roon and I start listenlng with the screen off. is not something I particularly like because the screen is excellent. but not matter the reason why you may want it to get the screen of, you can.
