Isn’t the Sabre DAC a Delta-Sigma implementation and does it internally anyway?
Doing PCM to DSD conversion on general-purpose CPUs is very intensive though and probably well beyond what the smartphone-class CPU in Rose can do (and does not serve any practical purpose anyway), so this is unlikely to happen.
Auralic G2 does DSD upsampling, for example, and the 130 will upsample PCM.

Ah, for 130. I would still very much doubt it, without specialized hardware it is very intensive, unlike PCM upsampling. Not much practical reason for it either.
Not sure how ‘very intensive’ is this job, since all Lumin DAC or streamers can convert PCM to DSD128 or DSD256 on the fly !
