JPlay for iOs control point

I’m using JPlay for iOs which is a DLNA control point running on iPhones, iPads and Macs. It works very well indeed with my Rose RS130, certainly better designed, more reliable and more consistent than anything other than, perhaps, Roon.

They run a certification programme, presumably similar to the “works with Audirvana” branding. I think it would be well worth Rose approaching them to get their streamers certified as it would provide useful marketing kudos and publicity.

I have just started using JPLAY and I’m seriously impressed with what I’m hearing. The UI is rather straight forward and Qobuz/Tidal integrated well. So far it’s operating perfectly with my RS130. I too would like to see HiFi Rose pursue a relationship with JPLAY.

For my part i would like that rose connect looks like jplay.

Thank you for the tip, i tried it,it’s very nice and promising but only exists for apple not for android

Hi I have question regarding JPlay. Ialso use it but Can Not Connect to the Music on the Internat SSD. Could get that working and if so how did you do it?
Thanks for your replay.
Best wishes

As you can see from the link above, you need to be certified like Roon and Audirvana to be compatible with Rose devices, but we did not go through this process.
It seems difficult to use Rose devices by connecting them to Jplay.

Sigh

It’s not difficult - JPlay for IoS already works with Rose devices - it sits between a DLNA server such as MinimServer or the built-in one on a Synology NAS and the DLNA renderer on the Rose.

The suggestion was to seek certification to demonstrate to potential purchasers that it works.
