Lack of phase inversion XLR Rd160

On the Rs150b I have this function of inversion of the hot point and cold point on the Xlr outputs.

This is absent on Rd160

I have other sources connected to my Accuphase amp and therefore cannot act on the amplifier

The solution: use Rca outputs or make a cross Xlr cable

Not very simple or qualitative given the price of the Rd160!!

@Gillesbonatti Did you manage to listen to it? How does it sound? Or because of the lack of an inversion function you never listened to the device?

I connected it to RCA.

I don’t think I’ll report here

I keep the Rd160 until Tuesday.

Phase inversion is not that common a feature on DACs.

My Teac Ud701, the Hifirose Rs150b have this function!!

I took adapters to do a phase inversion,

I received a Rs160 Silver, installation at the end of the week.

Can you describe how it works?
Is there an audible difference in sound?
You still haven’t described to me what the 160 sounds like and whether it makes sense to upgrade my RS 150B

By being out of phase the sound will be more diffuse, less centered

The hot and cold points ( 2& 3 ) are reversed.

Obviously no need if you use Rca outputs
The main difference with the Rs150b is a more analog, less dry rendering.

On battery strikes it is immediately noticeable
