LEDs of H/F CROSSOVER on RA180 not Turning ON

Hi,

Just notice that on my RA180, the LEDs of the H/F Crossover will NOT turn ON when I am using the BTL mode to connect my speakers.

When I set the BTL Mode Selection Switch on the back panel to either Left side or Right side, the LEDs of the H/F Crossover on the front panel will not light up.

But when I stop using the BTL Mode and set the BTL Mode Selection Switch on the back panel to OFF position, the LEDs will turn ON.

Does it mean the LED hardware of the H/F Crossover component is malfunctioning and needs a repair ?

In the picture, under BTL Mode, the H/F Crossover funciton is enabled, but the LEDs don’t light up as the PREAMPLIFIER component does.

In the Rose Amp Connector app, it can show whether the H/F Crossover function is enabled or not, no matter it is in BTL mode or not.

I apologize for late reply.

When you’re using BTL mode, H/F Crossover is deactivated.
It’s because H/F crossover is a function that adjusts the high and full range areas respectively. However, in the case of BTL controls high and full range together.

If the speakers have divided terminals - treble and bass, you can use H/F crossover by connecting in the bi-amping mode.
