Hi everyone,
I have a vintage Linn Karik CD player and would like to know the best way to connect it to a HiFi Rose system RS150B or RS180 .
- Is it better to connect the Karik digitally to the RS150B and use the Rose DAC, or use the Karik’s analog outputs to the RA180?
- If digital is preferred, which input on the RS150B is optimal?
- The Karik has legacy SPDIF outputs (BNC/RCA depending on version). What is the recommended connection and cable type:
- BNC-to-RCA 75Ω coax?
- RCA-to-RCA SPDIF?
- Other?
Has anyone compared these options and found a clear winner?
