Is there a reason I have to login with my username and password every time I use the HIFI Rose Connect app?

Have you used the Rose Connect app to register your device via the QR code on your Rose device? That corrected the issue for me.
The Rose Connect app is designed to store your login session, so you shouldn’t need to enter your username and password every time you open the app. However, if you’re being logged out repeatedly, this may be due to one of the following reasons:
App Cache or Data Clearing – If your device is set to automatically clear app data or cache, it can reset the login state.
Network Changes – Switching between networks (e.g., from Wi-Fi to mobile data) can sometimes trigger a logout for security reasons.
App Version – Ensure you are using the latest version of the Rose Connect app from the App Store or Google Play.
Account Conflicts – Logging into the same account from multiple devices simultaneously can also affect session persistence.
