Lost Ethernet connection

Hi there,

After updating the firmware on my RS130, I’ve noticed that the Ethernet disconnects every time the device wakes up from standby.

I’m using an SFP single-mode fiber optic connection. Previously, I only needed to physically reconnect the fiber cable after a full reboot. However, since the update, the network now disconnects even when the unit simply comes out of standby.

This issue started occurring right after the software update.

Please help

Can’t help too much, but I can confirm that after going to standby or power off and then on, I have Ethernet with no issues.

May I ask, are you using Ethernet cable or fiber?

Fiber to SFP into the RS130

These often turn out to be a networking issue of some kind. I am not expert enough to help that except to also note that I’ve never had to remove my fiber and put it back in to get connection.
