When I set up the RS130 for my roon streaming, the maximum sample rate is 192k. What’s the problem?
What is the maximum sample rate of the DAC you have connected to it?
If the maximum sample rate shows as 192kHz in Roon, it is usually related to the connection type or DAC settings, not a fault with the RS130.
Please check the following:
- If you are using coaxial or optical (S/PDIF), the maximum sample rate is typically limited to 192kHz.
- Check whether your DAC supports higher sample rates through the current input.
- In Roon Settings > Audio > Device Setup, make sure no sample rate limit or DSP is applied.
- If possible, try using USB Audio Out to allow higher sample rates.
I discovered the problem: although I was using the I2S output, the optical outputs weren’t automatically turned off. Only after turning off each of the 3 outputs, I got the higher sample rates.
