Mobile app remote controls

I can no longer see the remote controller symbol on Rose Hifi apps on my android devices, some help please! Device is Rs520, mobiles are galaxy s24 ultra and tabs9 ultra

I also have the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and Tab S9 and have no problem displaying the RS130’s virtual remote control .

Android version : 5.9.02.6 from July 31, 2025.

What is your version of RoseConnect?

If it’s the same as mine, I suggest uninstalling it, rebooting both devices, and reinstalling the RoseConnect app.

What is a virtual remote control, do you have it in the app?

It’s “the remote controller symbol” on the top right of the screen (smartphone/tablet).

It is 5.9.07.3
So you’re recommending to reset Hifi Rose and the mobiles? Did I understand you correctly? It is the only thing I did not do though! Thanks

I can’t tell you, I’m using Android version 5.9.02.6.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Android app and let us know if you see the remote control logo appear in the top right corner.

Problem solved; instead of remote symbol, a gear symbol appeared and when clicked it was showing my rs520 and mobile devices, and I was clicking on my mobile device and then nothing…
Hifi Rose helped me, if you ever encounter this problem, click on the Hifi device, not on to your mobile device on the screen!
