New files not recognized in Library

I own the 250 streamer and love it. I use an external Sandisk 4TB SSD connected to the rear USB port. This has been working perfectly for the last year. I normally add files to the SSD by copying them from my PC library. Then I re-connect the SSD to the Rose and, after a quick library scan that the Rose performs automatically, the new files are recognized and visible in the app.

However,. I just added about 100 new files/folders, and, for some reason, they are not being recognized nor displayed in the media app, even after a library scan. I can see the new files if I search for them via the folder-only option, but not in the actual library.

is there anything I can do to ensure the newly added files can be displayed and properly sorted in the library and app?

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Please try one way.
RS250–>Settings–>System settings–>Media library–>Select your storage path, select Recan DB and press OK.
Next, turn off the power of the RS250 completely and turn it back on.

Thank you! I was able to make it all work after a factory reset and a DB re-scan.
